Position Description:
As Payroll Assistant you will assist in the weekly payroll process:
Onboarding new hires and process required paperwork, including I-9 documents and E-Verify Processing timesheets (hourly and salaried) Calculating vacations, garnishments, levies, and insurance deductions Calculating and filing weekly and monthly withholding taxes Processing terminations You must have strong attention to detail, ability to handle confidential information, and multitasking while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Requirements:
Microsoft Word and Excel experience Good math and communication skills Knowledge of office equipment (scanner, copier, adding machine) Schedule Requirements:
Monday-Friday 8-5 PM Compensation is $15-$20 depending on experience Minimum Education:
