We are looking for a Quality Assurance assistant to join our chemical department team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting incoming chemicals and fragrances, verifying the accuracy of each item, pulling samples for lab testing and ensuring that all items are in good condition.
The QA assistant will also be responsible for keeping the area clean and organized and filing documents.
Maintain records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push and pull up to 100 lbs.
Position is labor intensive.
Will have to work in the cold and hot weather conditions.
Will have to do some sweeping of department area.
Other duties include; Keep accurate records of all inventory movements.
Test samples.
Perform regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
Report any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor.
