Maintenance Manager

Industrial Insulation Group (IIG) a Johns Manville company, has an immediate opportunity for a Manufacturing Maintenance Manager for our Phenix City, AL facility.
Principle Duties &
Responsibilities:
Manages maintenance for the facility
Partners with production department to accommodate predictive maintenance activities, minimize downtime and scrap, and provide feedback regarding the status and availability of product equipment to Production Supervisor or Production Superintendent
Plans, directs, and coordinates activities concerning surveys, design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery in plant
Prepares process specifications
Leads maintenance teams which include a total of 25
employees
Partners with Environmental Health and Safety team to ensure compliance with standard practices, and policies for pollution control, installation, modification, quality control, testing, operating procedure, inspection, and maintenance of equipment, according to Engineering Principles and Safety Regulations
Ensures equipment and facility function as planned to avoid downtime and scrap
Identifies needs for major equipment repair and replacement, keeping in mind opportunities for improvement in efficiency, costs, environmental stewardship, and safety
Oversees daily controllable expense budget
Partners with Human Resources to ensure consistent application of HR related policies and practices
Participates in meetings and conference calls to share information between other JM plants and facilities and within the Plant
Develops and implements preventative and predictive maintenance program(s) to improve reliability
Manages maintenance and equipment vendors.
Directs maintenance of plant buildings including HVAC, building structure, grounds, etc.
Tests newly installed machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment of contract specifications
Qualifications:
Minimum 7
years of engineering experience with a solid history of delivering results
Minimum 4
years of experience in managing equipment maintenance and reliability
Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
BS Engineering degree (preferred)
Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and maintain preventive maintenance programs
Solid knowledge and experience of predictive maintenance programs
Working knowledge of power transmission, pneumatics, and hydraulics
Working knowledge in electrical systems ranging from 110 to 4160 voltages
Knowledge and compliance experience with environmental and OHSA
Proven project management skills and ability
Solid troubleshooting and problem solving
Proficient user in maintenance management systems
Must be able to meet the demands required in a 365/24/7 manufacturing environment with rotating shifts
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication
Proven teambuilding skills including facilitation and team member participation
Proven leadership skills Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
